Jennifer Lawrence Plans 12-Month Break From Acting After ‘Hunger Games: Mockinjay’ Movie Wraps

jennifer lawrenceJennifer Lawrence plans on taking a break from the movie industry once she finishes filming her final scenes in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay later this month.

The actress has had one hell of a successful career and she’s enjoyed so much fame and success in the past two years, having snagged an Oscar, several other awards and grossed billions of dollars at the box office thanks to her record-breaking movie numbers.

But with all this success, comes a lot of hard work.

Jennifer feels like she’s been giving it 110% all the way through that she’s finally decided to call time on her acting career to spend some quality time with her friends and family and enjoy the millions of dollars she’s made (I’d assume). Haha.

Here’s what J-Law revealed when asked on what she plans on doing post-Hunger Games film shoot: “It’s okay, it’s my fault. I get little breaks here and there. But on the last day of Hunger Games, I’m going to turn my phone off for a year!”

Good for her. I’m sure her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult would’ve been ecstatic to hear that he’s girl is finally taking some time off to focus not only on keeping their romance going but also to just enjoy life.

Leonardo DiCaprio also said he’d be taking a break from acting last year because he wanted to go out and pursue other dreams and travel the world — you can’t be mad at him. He’s another actor who consistently brings out the best in him when it comes to channeling a character. (Wolf of Wall Street, ah-mazing!)

Though Jennifer Lawrence plans to take a break later this year, that doesn’t mean you won’t be seeing her in a cinema near you anymore. She’s still got a bunch of movies coming out in months to come, including X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Hi, my name is Merema. If learning about pop culture was a degree I could've studied when I decided to take on a three-year course at college, I would've probably had the highest grades in my class. But instead, I settled for a BA in Film and a Master's in Filmmaking.
