To be honest, after hearing reports that the actress was failing to show up for filming sessions for the show and refusing to let the cameramen film her in her apartment that Oprah Winfrey rented for her in New York, I thought the show was going to be a mess.
And you know what? It is a mess, but in a way that’s going to make me want to watch. Haha — don’t you just love messy, ratchet television shows? Well, this is it.
The trailer is so good, it’s almost like a movie. We’re introduced with the opening where Lindsay shares that she really does want to get her act together and knows that she has to prove herself to a lot of people before she can accomplish her achievements.
One person asks her if she sometimes feels like a prisoner because of all the attention that’s constantly around her, to which Lohan responds to by saying “Yes. All the time.”
Then, as expected, we see a couple of cameos from Lindsay Lohan’s siblings and her annoying parents Michael and Dina — from the clips that were shown Dina is ecstatic to have her daughter back in New York following her move from Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, her father is giving a lot of attitude as he denies his absence from Linday’s life when she says she needed him the most. At this point of the trailer, I was totally in to the whole thing.
But then it gets better. The cameramen publicly state that Lindsay’s refusing to let them film her for the show and has denied them access to her home. Word quickly got back to Oprah Winfrey as her manager fills her in on the situation.
Oprah gives off the “I’m pissed off with this girl” face as she recalls how everyone told her NOT to give Lindsay the reality show because of the obstacles this young woman will end up causing, and they were totally right.
The former talk-show queen was seriously annoyed as she even cursed at Lindsay Lohan when saying: “You need to cut the bullsh*t, you really do.”
I don’t know about you, but I’m watching! Lindsay airs this Sunday on OWN!
