A petition was made on Change.org which clearly states that Bravo execs should remove Glanville from the show for reasons such as joking about racial stereotypes and child molestation while her choice of words are hurtful and offensive.
The thousands of people who have signed the petition are clearly missing the point — if they didn’t want to see Brandi on their television screens, they could simply change the channel, right?
Well, if you’re a fan of the show and not particularly a fan of Brandi Glanville’s so-called jokes then you’d have a hard time dealing with her every Monday night. But whether or not Bravo will actually listen is still debatable, seeing that Brandi is keeping the ratings up.
The document reads: “Please remove Brandi Glanville from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” immediately.”
“Brandi Glanville has made repetitive comments in the open media, social media, the actual television show and interviews which are distasteful and offensive to many groups of people.”
It finished with: “She jokes about racial stereotypes and child molestation among other very serious issues. Her behavior and words are hurtful, offensive and repulsive beyond the point of entertainment or “good TV.”
Supporters of the New York Times best-selling author have asked for the petition to be taken down, “Brandi could lose her job and she won’t be able to support her family,” one person wrote.
Another user then slammed back writing: “Brandi is a New York Times Bestselling author, and she has made a sum of money from the seasons she has been on Real Housewives. People lose their jobs everyday for making bad choices.”
