Both Lily-Rose and Jack Depp were left extremely saddened following their parents’ decision to divorce, so now to learn that they’ll have a new mom in their lives is going to be hard on them.
As you may recall, Johnny and Vanessa Paradis ended their relationship back in 2012 after 14 years — no marriage, no proposal, just two children. That alone has to be the most disrespectful thing though, right?
Think about it. You split up with someone that you’ve been with for over a decade — you presumably hoped that they’d make a move and consider married life with the other half, but it never ends up happening.
Instead, Johnny moves on to Amber Heard and becomes engaged to her just one year after they started dating. That’s gotta be insulting, right?
Johnny Depp’s children are still very young, but something tells me that the break-up between their father and mother will hurt them in the long run, especially when they consider the fact that daddy moved on so fast. Almost as if he was dying to end his relationship to Vanessa.
Paradis has said in the past that she’s happy for Johnny, but then the photo of her flipping the bird one day after her ex’s engagement announcement was made showed other signs.
I’m sure Vanessa hoped that she could potentially save her marriage to the famous actor but after they separated, there was already an estranged chemistry between the two so chances of a reconciliation were very unlikely.
Let’s just hope that Lily-Rose and Jack adjust well to their step-mother because from what we hear, she’s going to be around for a long time…
