The 61-year old admitted that flying back and forth from the UK and Los Angeles was hectic and hard on her, especially since she also has a talk-show host to film in the States, called The Talk.
The only reason why Sharon accepted last year’s offer on the judging panel was because the money was exceptionally generous.
Simon Cowell has already promised his good pal that if she was to return this year again, she’d receive a drastic pay rise.
Who can say no to that, right?
The rock star wife is reportedly sorting out her schedule to make time for her traveling accommodations to the UK once auditions take place between April-May. How much she’ll receive is still being negotiated but it’s somewhere at around $2-2.5million!
“She’s thinking it would be fun to do it one more time. Louis wants her back and Simon thinks she makes brilliant TV and she’s coming round to the idea,” a source shared.
Simon Cowell’s U.S version of the show was cancelled earlier this year after suffering in the ratings departments so to make sure that the same doesn’t happen in the UK, the music mogul will do whatever he can to get Sharon onboard. She proved to be very popular with viewers during the last series.
“Simon is torn between the glory of the good old days, and the risk of bringing in new people,” the source then added before confirming that singer Rita Ora was also in the running to become a judge on the show before she turned down the offer to focus on her own career.
