Though she was already a household name, Pamela can be considered as the original celebrity who started the sex tape movement back in the 90s and early 00s.
I’m not really sure if you should be proud to own a title like that.
Pam-An explains in the latest issue of Elle that the mistakes she’s made in the past are sort of haunting her now that she has two grown up sons, Brandon, 18, and Dylan, 16, who probably get teased about it by friends every now and then.
Could you imagine going to High School and boys saying, ‘Hey, I saw your mom’s tape — nice work’. Things could get awkward real quick, don’t you think? Haha.
“They know about everything. Stupid Internet. I don’t know why everyone is so impressed with it,” she told the magazine.
Oh, so you think just because the tape was on the internet over a decade ago it wouldn’t be there anymore? Pamela, you’re funny.
But despite the constant thought of her boys seeing her make love to their father (yikes!), Pamela goes on to recall some good times she had during those days. Especially when she became a Playboy playmate and Hugh Hefner was spoiling her like crazy.
“He put me in a mansion in Bel-Air with an opera-singing Chinese maid, and I was driving a Bentley.”
“A friend of mine came by and was like, ‘What is going on? Why are you living in this mansion?’ And I was like, ‘Isn’t this what happens when people move to LA?’”
The 46-year old then went on to discuss why she’s always been drawn to rock stars with a bad reputation — it was literally one rockstar to the next. So it was only fair that Pamela started explaining herself with her obsession for these men.
“The rock-star thing became very destructive, like, wow. I didn’t know what I was doing. I just kind of became that thing. The hair, that rock-star kind of lifestyle, just living a dream. It kind of took over.”
Pamela Anderson seems to have grown from her ways back in the days. She’s more sensible now and thinks about her actions before doing them. Good on her.
And nobody can deny that she’s raised two respectful sons who don’t whore out the media. But they’re still young, perhaps the time may come one day? Let’s hope not.
