The media has covered every angle of the bogus story — one week Blake’s cheating, then he’s an alcoholic who can’t control his liquor, then he wants to move out, oh and then there was the one where he supposedly refused to have kids with Miranda.
At some point you’ve gotta look at this and just laugh at it, right? Well, it’s kinda what Blake did when he sat down with The Voice coaches for an intimate interview on the TODAY show about the foursome and their chemistry on the program.
When asked if there is one thing that fans may not know about them, Blake revealed: “I would take this opportunity to say, to clear the air. You might pick up a magazine or a tabloid any day of the week that’ll say something about my relationship with Miranda, that it’s in turmoil.”
He finished off by assuring everybody that his marriage is fine: “The truth is, I’ve never felt a stronger bond with… not only with her but with any other human being in my life.”
I said it once and I’ll say it again… though tabloids often make up stories for the sake of publicity and money, when a bunch of tabs report the same story, I always feel like there’s some truth to it.
Look at the Ellen Degeneres “insecure, alcoholic, cheating” allegations — I do believe that there may have been a time where one of them wanted out of the marriage, but the media carries the story to a dramatic extent where it just sounds ridiculous. Ellen… an alcoholic? Don’t make me laugh.
Had Ellen brushed the rumors off by not saying anything at all, or addressing it once and never speaking about it again, then I probably would’ve believed her. But since she’s commented on the story so many times – on her own show, on Jimmy Kimmel and on Twitter – you start to question yourself on why she constantly brings it up.
If it’s not true, you shouldn’t find the need to comment, right?
Anyway, Blake is saying that the rumors are false and fabricated so we’re just going to have to take his word for it. Whether or not there’s any truth to these tabloid claims will eventually be played out either way.
