Yup — it was already speculated that Columbus would receive the boot following allegations he held a knife to his wife’s throat before being evicted from his house under court orders.
Short has had quite a history with domestic violence — not just to his wife, Tanee McCall, but also strangers in public. Most notably, there was a recent incident where he punched a man in the face after a night out, and the incident with his wife soon followed soon after.
In a statement, Short revealed: “At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble in television today.”
He would then go on to say: “Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast…”
This would also confirm that Columbus’ character on the ABC hit program will be killed off after season three ended with quite an interesting cliffhanger.
How sad that one man can suddenly fall into trouble and before you know it, you lose everything. Word is that Tanee plans on divorcing her man of eight years sometime this year while she’s also seeking full custody of their daughter, which the judge will most likely grant her.
