Ellen Degeneres “Having a Baby,” Renewing Vows with Portia de Rossi

ellen degeneres portia de rossi splitEllen Degeneres plans to renew her marriage vows to Portia de Rossi on their upcoming August 16th sixth wedding anniversary.

But it gets better… the talk-show host has finally given in on Portia’s request to have a baby with her partner.

OK! magazine — one of the least credible news outlets in America — is claiming that Ellen and Portia are starting fresh after their huge blowouts this past year.

The two have done nothing but fight over everything from who they can work with to alleged cheating scandals and Ellen’s supposed battle with alcohol.

The stories that circulated these last 12 months about the couple have been anything but the truth, at least according to Ellen.

Still, the 56-year old who said in the past that she never wants to have kids, has reportedly been convinced that having a baby will mark a fresh start for the couple and their “broken marriage.” sources for OK! reveal.

They are “looking to do something on or around August 16, their sixth anniversary, in Portia’s home country of Australia,” the source says.

After having settled their issues, they “want everyone to know they’ve come out of them stronger than ever,” hence why they plan on renewing their vows later this year. Ellen and Portia will reportedly fly out to Australia to have a lavish ceremony.

“It’s going to be something of a second honeymoon… a simple ceremony, followed by a beautiful dinner party for a few loved ones.”

As for Ellen’s decision on having a baby: “Nothing’s been decided, but Ellen and Portia are talking about adopting,” and if everything goes to plan, perhaps a baby could be welcomed into their household by the end of the year.

I still don’t think Ellen is too convinced about the idea of having a baby in their house, let alone a toddler who can be a lot to deal with. What do you think?
