The 18-year-old, who has been aspiring her model career for the past two years, has had great opportunities handed to her in the last few months — from walking Marc Jacobs’ fashion line runway to being featured in ‘Vogue’.
And while her career continues to take off, Jenner admits that being a model is the only thing she ever saw herself doing, so to see her quickly becoming a well-respected fashionista is only something she could’ve dreamt of.
“To be honest, this is exactly what I wanted to be. I was always looking up to supermodels, they were, like, my superheroes,” she tells the magazine.
The eldest Jenner girl then went on to talk about her parents. Bruce in particular. She says that ever since she can remember, her father would teach her the principles to becoming a successful person — and of course that would include a lot of hard work.
“My dad is my everything. He always had the craziest speeches for Kylie and me growing up, good words to live by. ‘Dream big, work hard.’ My parents brought Kylie and me up to be workaholics. That’s something I really appreciate.”
Say what you want about Kendall Jenner but the fact that she’s working her butt off to make this modeling career a permanent thing at the young age of eighteen shows that she’s driven to follow her dreams — why not?
