She attended a treatment center in Los Angeles and then moved to Utah. In Utah she spent her time living at a private boarding school after the incident and has been in recovery ever since.
The right decision for the young teenager was moving out of Los Angeles and adapting to a normal life where she is not constantly being watched by the media. An E! News insider said, “Utah has been exactly what she needed to get better,” the source explained. “She is in a much better place than a year ago. It’s just a matter of time before she comes home”
No one is sure when Paris will be returning home, but there is speculation that it could be this summer or later this year. She was able to leave school during the holidays and see her family on vacation in Hawaii. While home she visited her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, before heading back to Utah.
Paris’s Instagram is very active and she recently posted a photo with her brother Prince and other Jackson family members. She appears happy and looks like she is doing well.
Her last tweet on Twitter dates back to a year ago when she attempted to take her own life. She posted lyrics to the Beatles song ‘Yesterday‘ saying, “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay.” Hopefully, a year later, Paris’s troubles are washed away and she is healthy and on the right path.
