Well, either that or she got one of her assistants to pen this super long essay she wrote on the whole boycotting movement against the Beverly Hills Hotel.
If you’re super rich, living in California and you happen to be gay, then you’d be aware of this man named Sultan of Brunel who has publicly stated his views on homosexuals, saying that he’s totally against it and wishing to give them the death penalty if he had the power to make those kind of decisions himself.
Clearly these are comments made on behalf of his religious beliefs.
Well, Kim has hit back, but not exactly in a way you would’ve expected her to. You see, Kim was supposed to have her third bridal shower (fix it jesus) at the Beverly Hills Hotel last month but she ditched the building at the last minute after hearing what Sultan had said.
She hasn’t been to the hotel since, but today she’s realized that boycotting the hotel doesn’t affect a man with a net worth of $20 billion. In fact, it’s only hurting the staff members who get abused and ridiculed for working at that particular place.
She writes on her blog: “For a sultan that has 20 billion dollars, this loss of business doesn’t even make a dent in his fortunes. But the hotel staff are being negatively affected every day with the boycott that has gone on for weeks now… We shouldn’t punish the amazing hard-working people who have been so good to us for years!”
“The unjust treatment and violation of rights of the LGBT community around the world is never justified and I will continue to proudly support the LGBT community in every way imaginable. I do believe though that instead of this boycott, there has to be another solution.”
Kim is many things, but she talks sense here.
Now everybody in Hollywood needs to take her advice and not boycott the hotel because the only thing that it’s doing is hurting the staff members. Gee, I would’ve never thought I’d say people should take advice from Kim Kardashian.
