Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN 2’s “Number Never Lie” observed the generous deed and decided to share the news.
She took to her Twitter account to tweet, “Just saw actress Amy Adams do something incredibly class. She gave her 1st class seat to an American soldier. I’m an even bigger fan now.”
Apparently she did this anonymously, most likely so she could avoid the attention. It is believed Adams informed the flight attendant of her desire and then had the attendant bring the solider to his new seat.
After landing at LAX, Adams told “Inside Edition,” “I didn’t do it for attention for myself. I did it for the Troops.” This random act of kindness seemed to give her more attention than she desired.
You go girl! Not only did you help a hero, but you acted as one.
