Fox News guest host and “Clueless” star, Stacey Dash, dragged West through the dirt on Tuesday during her appearance on Outnumbered, reprimanding the rapper for comparing rape to being followed by the paparazzi.
During a concert in London, West complained to fans how the paparazzi intrudes his personal space and privacy, violating his and his family’s lives.
“Everybody out here, they like sex, right?” West asked the crowd. “Sex is great when both you and your partner be like, ‘Hey, this is something we want to do.’ But if one of the people don’t want to do that, what is that called? That’s called rape. That’s called violation.”
Stacey Dash took offence to the comparison, expressing her irritation of artists’ association of rape to their pictures being taken.
“What is wrong with these people?” Dash asked.
The “Clueless star” continued, stating that West should try getting raped in prison. “For Kanye to say ‘rape,’ maybe he needs to spend some time on Rikers Island, go to Rikers for a while, and then he’ll know what rape is.”
She then defended the paparazzi as “just doing their job.”
“If you’re nice, if you’re polite to them, they leave you alone,” she stated. “It’s when you start to call them names and act crazy and put your hands up and do all this drama that they make it a big deal.”
Contrary to Dash’s mindset, Fox News host Sandra Smith had a forgiving attitude towards the rapper. “They are saying things in the heat of the moment that they actually don’t really mean,” Smith argued.
Not surprisingly Dash disagreed, “I don’t think they’re out of touch, I just think they don’t understand what the business is.”
Perhaps this “little” reaction from Dash will persuade West to think before he speaks.
