Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are working on a new movie together, and sadly it’s not a sequel to their 2005 hit ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’.
The Hollywood couple are set to embark a new journey in the movie business as they plan on starring and producing their upcoming flick ‘By the Sea’.
There’s not much information on the film as of yet, other than the fact that Angie will also be directing the film while Brad will more or less have the producer cap on his head all day long while shooting takes place.
Universal Pictures is behind the movie, having already struck a deal with Brangelina while sources report that the film could start production as early as next year.
Universal has become a new home for Angelina who recently wrapped directing her other film ‘Unbroken’ which was mainly shot down under in Australia.
Angie has since given a statement, confirming her excitement on the new project while also thanking the production company for trusting her so much to produce new ideas and bring them to life under their firm.
“I am very happy to continue my relationship with… the entire Universal team as I finish Unbroken and begin work on By The Sea. They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker.”
More information of the film will be given once a script is in place and filming begins next year. What are we thinking? Perhaps a similar movie to MAMS or will it have an entire new concept? We shall wait and see.
