Jennifer Hudson’s Half-Brother Arrested For The Alleged Stabbing Of A Man

Steven Simpson is spending time in jail after reportedly stabbing a man in the face numerous times. The victim is said to have been romantically involved with Simpson’s estranged wife.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday night in Michigan after Simpson visited his wife’s apartment.

It was then when the 45-year-old reportedly attacked the unidentified victim, leaving the man to seek help from a neighbor around 3 A.M.

“I open the door and see blood everywhere,” Torrey Hunt, the neighbor of Simpson’s wife stated.

“He was stabbed in his chin and his chest, he had puncture wounds in his chest and his arms and stuff.”

Hunt continued, retelling what the victim witnessed during the attack.

“He said someone knocked on the door, he thought he was knocking on the door for somebody, and he started getting stabbed up.”

“I am thinking he could die any minute.”

The victim, who is expected to recover from the vicious attack, was quickly sent to the hospital and received medical treatment.

The victim’s wounds required about 20 to 30 stitches, Daily Mail reported.

According to Police, during the incident, Simpson’s wife “locked herself in the bathroom until [Simpson] left.”

Steven Simpson was taken into custody on Tuesday in Paw Paw, Michigan.

It is expected that Simpson will be charged with home invasion and attempted murder.

This wouldn’t be the first arrest for Simpson.

The half-brother of Jennifer Hudson has had a history of domestic violence, and has recently been arrested for assaulting his wife on Super Bowl Sunday, Huffington Post has reported.

The Oscar Winning actress has yet to make a statement regarding Monday’s attack.
