According to numerous sources, the 25-year-old artist’s boyfriend found the singer Friday morning in her Los Angeles home. The talented Simone allegedly died due to hanging.
Battle was famously known for appearing on Simon Cowell’s The X Factor in 2011. After her elimination from the widely popular talent show, Battle found a home with the girl group G.R.L.
Robin Antin, the founder of Pussycat Dolls and G.R.L, released a heart-felt statement of the passing of Simone Battle.
“Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing,” the joint statement from Robin Antin, Reign Deer Entertainment, Kemosabe Records, and RCA Records said.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this time.”
Simone’s band members as well took to twitter to address their loss.
‘Words cannot express the depth of our loss. Simone’s incredible talent was only surpassed by the size of her heart. We will carry her memory with us in everything we do.”
According to TMZ Simone’s father, Anthony Battle, was surprised of his daughter’s apparent suicide.
The father of the upcoming star never suspected that his daughter was struggling from depression, but acknowledged, “It’s possible she may have had an invisible disability.”
‘She will be greatly missed and loved,’ Simone’s father stated. ‘She was an exuberant person and a very loved person.’
Our condolences and hearts goes out to the family and loved ones of the talented singer.
