According to reports, Nicki’s father was arrested twice last year for DWI, “aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first, second and third degree.”

Wait! It gets much worse…

While the ‘Ancaonda’ also recently explained how her father’s relationship with her mother, Carol, was fine and that they were living together again, police reports state that Carol actually has a restraining order against Robert.

Sources close to the situation reveal that Minaj’s family are not willing to put Carol through the stress again that she faced with Nicki was a minor.

Despite the fact that Robert was getting help for his drinking problem and spent most of his time going to church, he relapsed and clearly can’t keep himself together.

When Robert is drunk, he’s believed to do all sorts of things, including physical behavior, hence why Nicki and her family filed for a restraining order from their beloved father.

“Upon approaching the operator of the Mercedes…I detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage from the vehicle and the arrestee’s breath when he spoke,”  a police officer wrote after arresting Robert.

“The arrestees eyes appeared watery and blood shot…I observed he was very unsteady on his feet.”

Earlier this year in an interview with Now magazine, Nicki did recall the time she feared for her mother’s life when she was a youngster and her father would put her hands on Carol.

“One time, he pulled my mother out of a car and dragged her two blocks. I was afraid, very afraid that something would happen to my mother.”
