Eminem’s shocking choice of words against singer Lana Del Rey lifted from his freestyle are not sitting too well with people.
The rapper seemingly dissed Lana in his ‘Shady CXVPHER’ freestyle he revealed online last night, where him and some new faces from his Shady Records label spit verses as part of their freestyle.
During Em’s freestyle, the ‘Monster’ artist makes it known he would punch Lana in the face before referring to the Ray Rice incident — Ray Rice is of course the shamed NFL player who was axed from the sport after footage of his domestic abuse to wife, Janay, leaked online.
“But I may fight for gay rights, especially if the d*ke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/ Play nice? B*tch I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance / ’Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.”
Nevertheless, it seems like Eminem was looking for a quick way to gain some attention for his fellow artists — and most importantly publicity for his new music material he’s bound to release in the following weeks.
Eminem was trending on Twitter throughout last night while Lana has yet to respond to the somewhat rude and vile comments that were made in the freestyle.
It just seems strange seeing that Del Rey has showed nothing but love for the rapper in the past. When asked on what she made of Eminem, Lana said in an interview from 2012 that she “f*cking loves” his music.
One shouldn’t forget that this isn’t the first time Eminem has dissed a famous woman in his verses. Kim Kardashian, Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have had the “pleasure” of facing scrutiny in one of Slim Shady’s songs.
