Jennifer Lawrence is not following the social media bandwagon by signing up and tweeting random suff on Twitter.
The ‘Catching Fire’ actress has told BBC Radio 1 she has no plans on joining any social media websites to keep her fans in the know on her personal life for two reasons:
She doesn’t know how to operate Twitter or Facebook
Jennifer cherishes her privacy too much
The second reason does seem a little ironic seeing that her nude photos made their way online earlier this year. But, not to say that she leaked them herself. I’m sure they were hacked. At least, I think.
Whatever the case may be when it comes to J-Law’s nudes, social media isn’t something she has any interest in whatsoever.
“I will never get Twitter. I’m not very good on phones or with technology. I cannot really keep up with emails, so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me. I don’t really understand what it is, it’s like this weird enigma that people talk about. That’s fine, I respect that, but no, I’ll never get a Twitter. And if you ever see a Facebook, instagram or Twitter that says it’s me, it most certainly is not.”
You’ve gotta love how she structures her sentence. “I will never get Twitter” shows that she won’t ever be one of those people who posts up photos of their food to let the world know what they’ve just eaten.
To be fair, could you even imagine Jennifer Lawrence on Twitter? She seems like she’d be boring to follow.
Jen is currently promoting the new Hunger Games movie ‘Mockingjay: Part 1,’ and once she’s done with that, she’ll be back to doing whatever she does throughout her days… it just won’t include social media time.
