Khloe Kardashian says she’s not against the idea of having children with James Harden if it ends up happening.
The 31-year-old reality star told E! News reporter, Catt Sadler, that she’s been wanting to have children for the longest time, and most certainly wouldn’t say no to the chance of having kids with Harden, but there’s an obstacle in all of this.
Khloe says that even though she’s destined to have a child, her schedule is so hectic that she couldn’t see herself settling down at this very time.
“I want a family, which means like husband, wife, kids,” she tells the outlet. “It doesn’t necessarily mean I have to birth the kids. I could have either a surrogate if I can’t. I can adopt or say the man I married had kids. That’s still my family. I don’t think your children are only yours if you birthed them.”
She then goes on to mention that with her sisters having a combined total of five children, she considers them her own children, too.
“These are my babies, too. And they say it takes a village to raise a child and that’s really how we all are. We are so obsessed with each others’ kids and all of that,” she concluded.
After filing for divorce from husband, Lamar Odom, it was alleged that Khloe wasn’t trying for kids with her estranged spouse over his ongoing struggle with drugs, despite telling fans otherwise.
Khloe Kardashian’s fans had wondered why the socialite was struggling to have children with Lamar, seeing that she was vocal about their sex life.
Well, it turned out that Khloe wasn’t actually trying, giving the impression that she was on birth control. At least, until Lamar was able to get his drug addiction under control, which he couldn’t and evidently led to the couple breaking up.
Khloe’s new show ‘Kocktails with Khloe’ debuts later this month on FYI.
