Rihanna plans on confronting Rita Ora at next month’s Grammys, having grown sick and tired of the British-songstress stealing her image.
The ‘Four Five Seconds’ hitmaker, who is expected to unveil her album in February, will be attending the annual award show, and if she runs into Ora, a few words will be shared — and they won’t be pleasant.
According to the National Enquirer, the Bajan-beauty “has always kept a dignified silence over her ‘Walmart copy-cat’ Rita Ora — until now.”
The news of Rihanna wanting to confront Rita Ora at the Grammys comes just one month after the ‘R.I.P’ singer filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z and Roc Nation, blaming them for the fact that her career hasn’t taken off in the United States, despite endless attempts.
Sources close to the situation then alleged that Rihanna, who is now signed to Roc Nation, had Rita’s team switch to her projects in the hopes that Ora’s time with the label would crumble and demolish.
Having learned that Rita is likely to leave the label in the forthcoming weeks, the Grammys showdown will be the perfect time for a little scuffle.
“After years of being quiet about Rita stealing her style, Rihanna’s finally had enough,” the source shares. “Rihanna’s vowed to only go to the Grammys if she can have a face-off with her. Rita should be running scared.”
It is bizarre to think that these women were once label buddies, who would actually meet up for a fun night out. But, of course, when a friend tends to start copying everything you are doing, it becomes irritating and anything but authentic.
Rihanna is known to start wars on social media, but this will mark the first time she has actually taken her feuds to the presence of the person in question.
Rihanna clearly doesn’t see Rita Ora as a threat.
