20-time Grammy Award winner, Beyonce, was spotted on campus at the University of Southern California yesterday afternoon and students were starstruck and overjoyed with excitement at her surprise attendance.
A numerous amount of USC Trojans recorded and took to social media to share their happiness as they witnessed Queen B’s attempt to cover herself up in an army green utility style jacket while rushing and weaving through the crowds of students with the help of her security.
The singer was said to be at the McKay Athletic Center practicing for her upcoming Super Bowl 50 halftime show. A source says, “Her dancers were dancing and rehearsing. They blocked everything down and the windows so nobody could see.”
Pepsi, who is the sponsor of the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, has recently confirmed that Bey will be taking to the stage and performing this year alongside Coldplay at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on February 7th.
“Beyoncé has been in the talks to perform for some time but it was all top secret,” a source says. “She is very excited to be at this year’s big Super Bowl. She can’t wait.”
The world renowned singer first performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl in 2004, which was held at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.
She then returned to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2013, famously held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The 2013 Super Bowl performance resulted in a blackout and a record number of tweets.
