Caitlyn Jenner is apparently going to desperate measures in the hopes of not seeing her reality show canceled, as it’s now being reported that the aging Olympic athlete reportedly wants to become a mother.
The TV personality, who has very much documented her journey from male to female since her coming out last June, is allegedly feeling lonely and thinks that welcoming a child into the world is exactly what she needs in her life.
With her daughters, Kendall and Kylie, all grown up, Caitlyn Jenner doesn’t actually get to see her kids as much as she’d like to, considering the fact that they have established empires of their own that keep them away from the amount of family time they would like to have with their father.
And with Kris Jenner having happily moved on with Corey Gamble, Caitlyn doesn’t really have anybody by her side whose company she can enjoy at all times.
According to a source, having a baby in her house will fill that emptiness she’s said to be feeling — she loves being around children (and raising them), which is why she’s so destined to pull through with the idea.
On top of that, Jenner knows that having a baby via surrogate at her age will be controversial and get the media talking, which will guarantee her chances of seeing her tanking reality show make its return to E! later this year.
OK! magazine dishes, “She’s suffering from the empty nest syndrome and she really wants to experience parenting from a mother’s perspective.”
As reports have claimed earlier this year, I Am Cait has seen drastic drops as far as ratings are concerned. While the first season kicked off just weeks after Jenner’s transgender announcement with Diane Sawyer, E! couldn’t have been happier with the amount of viewers that were entertained by Caitlyn’s antics in its first run.
But things changed in season two, especially over some of the things that Caitlyn Jenner had said regarding his marriage to Kris Jenner, insinuating that she was a bad wife who often neglected her husband.
The fans that Caitlyn had made all of a sudden turned their backs on her for her comments — no matter how much one might dislike Kris, to downplay the marriage that lasted well over 22 years is absurd.
With that being said, Caitlyn is definitely considering the idea of having a surrogate carry her baby, evidently making her a mom at 66. And if that was to happen, trust us when we tell you that the E! cameras will definitely be rolling.
